SCM students and alumni have proven to be multi-talented. Besides studying, working hard and participating in the social events, they are also very sporty. Congratulations to all SCM students and alumni that participated in the Vienna City Marathon 2018!
On Saturday April 21th 2018, Elodie Brinck & Alexandra Thomik gave the start sign and ran 10km. After about 1:10 hours, they ran over the finish line and cleared the field for the marathon the day after. Great job girls!
On Sunday April 22th 2018, a lot of students and alumni ran the marathon together. Alumni Gesine Koinzer did a great job in running a half marathon in about 2 hours. Alumni Viktoryia Bakhrudzinava and Jasmine Ramsebner ran the relay marathon with their colleagues from EY. Together they finished the entire marathon in 4:21 hours. Amazing teamwork! The SCM running team consisting of Tobias Steininger, Lara Kaiser, Christoph Geibinger and Carmen Theuns also participated in the relay marathon. After 3:46 hours, their last runner came across the finish line. Also Martin Sischka, Andreas Beck and alumni Johan Catún participated in a relay team.
Big thanks also to all fans, cheerleaders and support during this event! You gave the runners exactly the motivation they needed! To all runners, keep up the good work, keep running! See you in the next SCM running session.
