On December 14th, 36 members of the SCM Network were invited to join a virtual online event with Henkel.
Henkel is a multinational corporation headquartered in Germany with major businesses and market-leading positions in the Adhesives, Beauty and Laundry markets. Brands like Schwarzkopf, Bref, Fa, Pattex, Persil and many more are part of the Henkel Group.
Six SCM alumni working in different fields of supply chain management at Henkel’s regional headquarters for the CEE region in Vienna provided us interesting insights into their working life and current projects. First, we were introduced to Henkel´s product variety and its supply chain operations, followed by the alumnis’ presentations of their daily business and the challenges they are facing. The event was accompanied by several Kahoot questions, challenging the participants’ understanding of Henkel’s supply chain. Narine Balmanian from HR then provided us with an overview of the work and career opportunities within the company.
The SCM Network would like to thank Henkel for this interesting event. Also, a big thank you to our six SCM alumni, namely Stefanie Schwertführer, Nikolaus Zach, Julia Danninger, Niclas Bastian, Benjamin Konzett and Marc Balzuweit, as well as Narine Balmanian from Henkel’s HR department, who led us through the event and shared valuable insights into their career paths and current work at Henkel.
